This service provides a summary of recent changes to the directives and standards that affect your product.

Products are required to conform to the CE marking directives that apply at the time of sale. Thus, it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to ensure that there is a process for reassessing conformity whenever there are changes to the applicable directives or the technical standards used as the basis for the conformity assessment.

The update service provides a report showing whether the applicable directives and standards have changed since the Declaration of Conformity was first issued or was last reviewed by Conformance; the applicable directives and standards will be detailed in the relevant Conformance report. The cost of the service is dependent on the number of years since the Declaration of Conformity was first issued or was last reviewed by Conformance. To order, the total number of years needs to completely cover the required period of the review, e.g. for a period of 18 months 2 years will be required.
